Rodney L. Dzingle

Rodney L. Dzingle, 57, of Lake Tapps, WA, formerly of St. Libory. It is with great sorrow that our son, brother, father and grandfather passed away into the arms of our dear Lord Jesus Christ on Tuesday, Nov. 8, 2016, at his home, of a heart attack. Memorial services with military honors will be held on December 10, 2016, in Washington. Rodney was born on Aug. 22, 1959, at Lincoln, the son of David and Norene (Keller) Dzingle. Rodney attended grade school in Enumclaw, WA and later moved with his family to St. Libory. He attended St. Paul High School, where he excelled in football and baseball and graduated in 1978. He then attended Kearney State College. Rod entered the United States Army and served in Germany and throughout Europe and was honorably discharged. Rod later started his own business, R.D. Landscape Design and Construction where his work ethic, customer service and hard work achieved him the highest respect from his community and clients. He enjoyed camping and fishing in Alaska, Canada and Washington and at his beloved Lake Tapps home. One of his favorite pastimes and passions was to attend his grandson's sporting events. He is survived by his parents, David and Norene Dzingle of Auburn, WA; two daughters and one son-in-law, Katie and Chris Weier and Jenell Smith, all of Fife, WA; granddaughter, Gwendolyn; grandsons, Walter and Johnny; two brothers and sisters-in-law and their children, Russ and Sherri Dzingle (Zack and Sam Dzingle) and Doug and Dawn Dzingle (Derek and Dayla Dzingle) all of Auburn, WA; and one sister and her children, Kay Myrick (Chase, Chelsea and Cassidy Myrick) of Chandler, AZ. Rod was preceded in death by his grandparents, John and Sally Dzingle and Bill and Beulah Keller.

My deepest sympathy to Uncle Dave, Aunt Norene, Russ, Doug and their families. I still have fresh memories of stopping at the St. Libory watermelon stands with my parents Clarence, and Lillian and them visiting with you. Also the times we would visit at Grandpa Johns, and Grandma Sally and play with the boys at Lake Sherman during the 4th of July. Time sure passes by, but the memories are always special. My family and I pray that God will hold you close and comfort you during this time. He has a special place for all of us and our faith in him can carry us in our times of need. May God bless your entire family and know that we are praying for you and with you. Michael Wojtalewicz and family.
