Pat was born on October 8, 1947, in St. Paul, NE, to Malven and Marie (Silk) Jepson. She grew up in Cushing, Nebraska, where she attended Cushing Elementary School. She later graduated from Palmer High School in 1965. After high school, Pat began her career in Grand Island with the telephone company, where her strong work ethic and attention to detail were already evident.

On June 4, 1967, Pat married the love of her life, Gordon Peter Wieck. Together, they began their marriage in Omaha, Nebraska, before moving to Worms, Nebraska, in 1970. There, they purchased an acreage that became the heart of their family life—a place where they raised their three children and built a home filled with hard work, laughter, and love, and where Gordon still resides today.

Pat spent many years working in accounting, first at Country General and later at McDermott and Miller, where she retired. One of her greatest achievements, however, was being a devoted trucker’s wife while raising three children, managing a household, and holding everything together with quiet strength and determination.

Pat had a deep love for caring for others and for her many animals over the years, including ducks, geese, chicks, cats, dogs, and fish. She was creative and endlessly capable—enjoying scrapbooking, puzzles, sewing, quilting, carpentry projects, cooking and baking, and even pool maintenance. She also treasured her time with friends and never missed a week of enjoying Bulldogs with her friends at Nitecrawlers Bar. Pat was an active member of Zion Lutheran Church since 1970, where she faithfully served as part of the Dorcas Ladies Aid, church choir, and helping with church dinners. She was also a proud member of the Cheerie Center Extension Club. Above all else, Pat’s greatest joy was her family. Her grandchildren and great-grandchildren were her pride and joy, and she followed them faithfully, never missing an activity. She was always ready for a sleepover with her special party drinks, a project, or simply time spent together. She was a true friend to those around her and treated many as family, especially her beloved Worms crew.

Pat is survived by husband, Gordon Wieck; children, Brad (Jen) Wieck of Genoa, Niki (Brian) Tibbetts of Palmer, and Andrea (Lance) Kurz of Fullerton; grandchildren, Andrew (Shayla) Tibbetts, Jessica (Devon) Korth, Madison (Brock) Hinrichs, Tanner (Sydney Grudzinski) Tibbetts, Gabrielle (Jaxson Hinkle) Wieck, Emilyn, Brecklyn, Braylon, and Keelyn Kurz; and great-grandchildren, Atleigh and Aspyn Tibbetts; Jax and Lincoln Hinrichs; and baby Korth; siblings, Sally Levene, Linda Helzer, and Kathy Glause; brother-in-law, Danny Wieck; and friends like family, the Worms crew.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Malven and Marie Jepson; in-laws, Oscar and Marie Wieck; her parents, Malven and Marie Jepson; in-laws, Oscar and Marie Wieck; sisters, infant Darlene Jepson and Shirley (Vance) Wohlers; brother, James (Jean) Jepson; brothers-in-law, Bob Levene and Dennis Helzer; and sister-in-law, Janice Wieck.

Pat will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her. Her kindness, strength, creativity, and devotion to her family will live on in the many lives she touched.

In Pat’s words, “F… cancer!”
