In my thirteen years in the United States, I never met any other person who was as loving, caring and helpful to me and my children as Larry and Trudy were. Since I heard of Larry's passing yesterday, I cannot stop thinking about him. Larry was a truly an amazingly nice person to me and my children: my three riotous children would break his stuff while he was keeping them, but Larry would be forever smiling, forgiving, willing to give them another chance, be planning the next fun thing to do with them even as they were messing up on the present one; giving them special treatment and talking to them as fellow buddies. Larry and Trudy acted as grandparents for my three boys at their school; and Larry was always willing to talk to the boys about their problems. He treated us like family. It is with great shock and sadness that I learnt of his passing. Trudy, be comforted: "Behold the fowls of the air: for they sow not, neither do they reap, nor gather into barns; yet (our)heavenly Father feedeth them. Are ye not much better than they?
