Kevin M. Kelly

Kevin Michael Kelly, 67, of Sierra Vista, Nevada died on Saturday, April 22, 2023 at Redlands Community Hospital in Redlands, California.  

Mass of Christian Burial will be 10:30 a.m. Saturday, June 24, 2023 at St. Libory's Catholic Church, 505 Spruce Street, Saint Libory, NE. The Rev. Sidney B. Bruggeman will celebrate the Mass. Inurnment of ashes will be in the parish cemetery.

Memorials are suggested to the Mid-America Council of the Boy Scouts of America.  

Peters Funeral Home of St. Paul is assisting the family.

Kevin was born the son of Lawrence and Patricia (Kocian) Kelly on February 29, 1956 in Omaha, Nebraska and moved to Plattsmouth, Nebraska with his mother and sister, Maureen, as a child. Kevin was a Plattsmouth High School graduate and graduated from the University of Nebraska Omaha in 1991.  

Kevin worked for many years in the financial sector in several states, retiring from Zions Bank in Salt Lake City, Utah.  He loved to share stories with his many friends and family.  He loved his time with the Boy Scouts of America and used his scouting skills throughout his life camping and fishing.

Kevin is survived by his loving aunts, Mary (Winter) Kocian and Kathleen (Kelly) Van Doren; brother Terry; sister-in-law Amanda; nephew Ethan Kelly; niece Ashley Kelly; and numerous cousins on both sides.

He was preceded in death by his parents, and sister, Maureen Kelly
