Frank was born on Oct. 8, 1939, on the family farm southwest of Farwell, the son of Frank and Vernie (Lubash) Koperski, Sr. He attended country school in the area and was a 1957 graduate from Farwell High School.

After graduation he worked in construction and for the Soil Conservation office. He then served in the United States Army.

He was united in marriage to Sharon A. Goc, on Oct. 17, 1964, in Loup City. The couple lived their entire married life southwest of Farwell, where they raised their family, farmed, ran a dairy, and raised cattle and hogs. Farming was Frank’s life!

He was a member of St. Anthony’s Catholic Church in Farwell.

He enjoyed collecting clocks, going for evening pick-up rides in the country to check on the crops and checking out the neighbors. He also liked to attend farm auctions and loved watching western TV shows and faithfully drinking coffee at least three times a day.

He is survived by his wife, of over 60 years, Sharon; his children and spouses, Jim and Lee anna Koperski of Farwell, Jerry and Misty Koperski of Grand Island, Janis Koperski and Delbert Fielder of Hastings, Jeff Koperski of St. Paul and Dennis Koperski of Dannebrog; 13 grandchildren and 17 great-grandchildren; and sisters-in-law, Gladyce Koperski of Cairo, Dorothy Koperski of St. Paul, Viola Koperski of Dannebrog, Joyce Goc and Patty and Mark Eurek, all of Loup City.

He was preceded in death by his parents; infant daughter, Denise Koperski; daughter and son-in-law, Julie and John Stevenson; granddaughter, Rikki Koperski; and his siblings, Bertha and Leo Kuszak, Cecelia Koperski, Harry Koperski and his wives, Delores and Marcella, Catherine and Ray Miller, Rose and Leonard Jasnoch, Stanley Koperski, Edward Koperski, Leona and Robert Verley, Leonard and Berniece Koperski and Paul Koperski; his in-laws, Andy and Van Goc; and brother-in-law, Kenny Goc.
