Douglas Oneil Faulk, 62, of North Loup, died Wednesday, Nov. 12, 2025, at CHI Health Good Samaritan in Kearney, surrounded by his family.

Doug chose to be cremated. His family will announce a Celebration of Life in North Loup at a later date.

Peters Funeral Home of St. Paul is assisting the Faulk family.

Memorials are suggested to the family for later designation.

Douglas was born on Aug. 1, 1963, in South Bend, IN, to Dennis D. William and Patricia Faulk. He grew up in South Bend, where he attended high school and later served in the United States Army Reserves.

He was married to Janice, and they had a son, Nicholas. Doug worked in maintenance and was a club member of the Hells Angels. He later became an OTR truck driver.

He was united in marriage to Kim Skinner in 2005. The couple lived in Palmer, Archer and Wolbach before settling in North Loup. He continued to drive truck until his health failed. He then helped at Jacobs Farms.

Douglas and Kim enjoyed motorcycle riding and family get-togethers. Doug also loved being outside and tinkering in his garage with his boys and grandsons.

He is survived by his wife, Kim of North Loup; his mother and step-father, Patricia and Jeff Sterzick of South Bend, IN; children and spouses, Stephanie Ford and Justin Muller of St. Paul, Nicholas Faulk of South Bend, IN, Christopher Ford and Joy Handy of Ansley, Ben Skinner and Steph Smith of Wood River, Cheyanne Faulk of South Bend, IN, Nick and Kayla Skinner of McCook, Tricia and Cris Hill of North Loup, Joseph and Kelsey Skinner of Ord, and Tyson Skinner and Jaelyn Jensen of Kearney; five extended children, Cathy Ford, Jorge “Chipe” Grado, Sergio Galindo, Kendra Georg, and Ethan “Davey Dave” Estill; 13 grandchildren; 7 extended grandchildren; 2 extended great-grandchildren; brother, Frank Bennett of South Bend, IN; sister and brother-in-law, Karen and Rick Simbeck of South Bend, IN; step-brother, Justin Sterzick of South Bend, IN; and step-sister, Kristin Noel of South Bend, IN.

He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Norma and Jewell Johnson, who raised him; in-laws, Ed and Diane Ford; step-sister, Heather Hardesty; and his good friend, Jerry Happ.
