Trent Thomas "Hombre" Preisendorf

Trent T. “Hombre” Preisendorf, 40, of St. Paul, died unexpectedly, Saturday, Dec. 24, 2011, at the Howard County Medical Center in St. Paul. Memorial services will be at 2 p.m. Friday at Peters Funeral Home in St. Paul. The Rev. Sidney B. Bruggeman will officiate. Mr. Preisendorf's body was cremated. The family will greet friends Thursday from 5 to 7 p.m. at the funeral home. Mr. Preisendorf was born on Dec. 23, 1971, at Grand Island, the son of John and Marilyn (Browning) Preisendorf, Jr. He is survived by two brothers and one sister-in-law, Kevin and Laura Preisendorf of Birmingham, Alabama, and John “J.J.” Preisendorf of Wolbach; two sisters and brothers-in-law, Nicole and Brian Umrath of St. Paul and Cindi and Louie Gordon of Colorado Springs, CO. He is also survived by one niece and three nephews, Ariel, Max, Ryan and Jason. Trent grew up on a farm southeast of St. Paul and attended Bunker Hill country school and graduated from St. Paul High School in 1990. He then farmed with his family and later as a farmhand for Bob and Betty Dvorak. He was married to Heather Jacobsen. The couple later divorced. In recent years, Trent operated his own “Fas-Break” windshield repair business, which he ran until the time of his death. He was preceded in death by his parents; and grandparents, John and Opal Preisendorf and Herman and Cecilia Browning. Memorials are suggested to the family's choice.
