Nathanael L. "Nate" Moheng

Nathanael L. “Nate” Moheng, 27, of St. Paul, died Thursday, Feb. 4, 2010, in Grand Island. Memorial services will be at 10 a.m. Wednesday at Peters Funeral Home in St. Paul. The Rev. Doug Cline will officiate. Inurnment will be in the Riverside Cemetery in Gibbon. There will be no visitation. Mr. Moheng was cremated. Mr. Moheng was born on April 1, 1982, at Norton, Kansas, the son of Gerald D. and Virginia M. (Franssen) Moheng. He is survived by his parents of St. Paul; three brothers and one sister-in-law, David Moheng of Omaha, Herman and Brandi Moheng of Carson, Iowa and Tim Moheng of Omaha; two sisters and one brother-in-law, Elizabeth and Troy Stickels of Blue Hill and Sarah Burns of St. Paul. He is also survived by nieces and nephews, Grace and Gavin Moheng, Isabella and Hayden Stickels and Emma Burns. As a young infant, Nate moved with his family to Shelton. He began his education at Shelton Elementary School and in 1989 moved with his family to St. Paul, where he attended St. Paul Public Schools. In 2000, he graduated from Pine Ridge High School in Chadron, through the Job Corps. He then lived in various communities where he worked in different types of construction. He enjoyed fishing, music and spending time and working with his dad. He loved his family and will be greatly missed by all of them. He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Dale and Mary Moheng, and Herman and Marcella Franssen; his brother, Eric Moheng; and his uncles, Steven Moheng, Wayne Franssen and Dale Franssen. Memorials are suggested to the family’s choice.
