George H. Crone

George H. Crone, 76, of Loup City, died Wednesday, April 11, 2018, at the Kearney Regional Medical Center in Kearney. George chose to be cremated with private family services. George was born on June11, 1941, in Bridgeport, Connecticut, the son of Alonzo F. and Evelyn M. (Handy) Crone. He was united in marriage to Barbara Jo Elkins on May 28, 1969, in Inglewood, California. George worked as an electronics technician for many years in California and Arizona. A little over 10 years ago the couple moved to Loup City. Barbara died on Dec. 10, 2017, and George continued to live in his home until the time of his death. He is survived by two sons, Steven Crone and Anthony Crone, both of Connecticut and a daughter, Katherine of Mississippi; step sons, James D. “Jimmy” Blackwell of Phoenix, AZ, Patrick D. and Patsy Dunn of Davenport, Iowa and Gregory A. Dunn and Barbara Talley of Loup City; two brothers, Arthur Crone and Alonzo Crone, both of Kansas City, MO; and numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren. Memorials are suggested to the family.
