Edwin J. "Eddie" Wojtalewicz

Edwin J. “Eddie” Wojtalewicz, 86, of St. Paul, died Thursday, Feb. 3, 2011, at the VA Medical Center in Omaha. Memorial services will be at 10:30 a.m. Monday at Sts. Peter & Paul Catholic Church in St. Paul. The Rev. Ray Kosmicki will officiate. Private family inurnment will be in the Elmwood Cemetery in St. Paul at a later date. There will be no visitation. Mr. Wojtalewicz chose to have his body cremated. Peters Funeral Home of St. Paul is in charge of arrangements. Mr. Wojtalewicz was born on June 26, 1924, at Loup City, the son of Joseph and Mary (Mrkvicka) Wojtalewicz. He was united in marriage to Delores M. Olsufka on April 27, 1948, at St. Paul. She preceded him in death on Oct. 27, 1988. He was also preceded in death by a son, Russell Wojtalewicz. Eddie will be missed by many friends, as well as, his three sons, Archie, Cliff and Phil; his only daughter, Chris; his grandchildren and great grandchildren; and his only surviving brother, Lavern.
