The couple began Vlach Construction in 1962, which is still operated today, by their son, Rick. Peggy was a member of Zion Lutheran Church of Scotia and the LWML of the church. She was also a member of “The Birthday Girls”, American Legion Auxiliary Unit 150 of Scotia and the Nebraska Land Improvement Contractors Association.
