Ginger M. Abraham

Virginia Mae “Ginger” Abraham, 75, of Loup City, died Monday, May 16, 2016, at the Rose Lane Home in Loup City. Memorial services will be 10:30 a.m. Saturday, June 11, 2016, at the Southwood Lutheran Church in Lincoln. Mrs. Abraham donated her body to science. Peters Funeral Home of Loup City is assisting the family. Ginger was born on Jan. 29, 1941, in Sioux Falls, SD, the daughter of Marvin D. and Opal B. (Pattison) Tschudy. She received her education and grew up in Sioux Falls. She was united in marriage to Wallace L. Abraham on Nov. 14, 1959, in Sioux Falls. The couple lived in Sioux Falls, Madison, Plankington and Mitchell. In 1981, they moved to Albion where they resided until 1994,when they moved to Lincoln and later moving to Mesa, AZ. Ginger was a self employed artist and traveled for Thomas Kinkade, highlighting his canvas paintings. Wallace died on Nov. 24, 2011, and Ginger then moved to Loup City, to be near her daughter. She was a member of the Methodist faith, United Methodist Women and the Red Hat Society. She was a very active woman that loved to travel and dearly loved her grandchildren. She is survived by her daughter and son-in-law, Heather and Gary Anderson of Loup City; sons and daughters-in-law, Robert and Shelley Abraham of Lincoln and Bart and Darcie Abraham of Tigard, OR; 10 grandchildren and 1 great-granddaughter. In addition to her husband, she was preceded in death by her parents; son, Terry Abraham; granddaughter, Makayla Anderson; and one brother, Wayne Tschudy. Memorials are suggested to the family.
